Software Developer (Geographic Information Systems)

We are looking for a developer to build the map-based interfaces of our image archive and ordering platform.

Responsibilities
  • Development of map-based web interfaces
  • Writing image archive search and ordering services
  • Setting up and operating OGC services (WMS, WMTS, WFS)
  • Testing the code written and taking part in deployment
Requirements
  • Degree in Computer or Software Engineering
  • Experience with JavaScript and a server-side language (Python, Go, PHP)
  • Experience with PostGIS and map libraries (OpenLayers, Leaflet)
  • Habits of version control and code review
Nice to Have
  • Experience with GeoServer or MapServer
  • Container based deployment experience
  • Good command of English
